This weekend on In Focus, a look at how American Rescue Plan Act funding is being invested in Upstate cities. JoDee Kenney sits down with Albany Mayor Kathy Sheehan to talk about the city's ‘Join Albany' employee recruitment campaign. The mayor said in addition to streamlining the municipal hiring process, the city is working to connect with more qualified applicants and diversify its workforce. ARPA dollars are opening new positions and providing more competitive wages to entice new city workers.
